In addition to being a surfer wannabe, a cocky ping-pong player and a horrible Spanish guitarist, Sergio Abuja is an award winning film director and a Latin Grammy nominated producer. His short films have traveled around the world festival circuit and his film, WATERLINE, was the winning entry of the New Filmmakers from Spain Film Contest at the XVII Recent Spanish Cinema Los Angeles & Miami Film Festival. Sergio has directed spots for HONDA, DIRECTV, WALMART and the INTEL Drone campaign, which became a viral sensation and was recognized at The CANNES LIONS Festival. In 2017 Sergio was selected for the SHOOT ONLINE New Directors showcase as one of the worldwide up and coming directors to watch.
